Beautiful church close to the sea. Iglesia de Santa Maria is the main church of Mundaka, a little town in the coast of Basque Country, in Bizkaia Region. It was built in the 16th Century in gothic-style, in the same place, where other previous church was destroyed. It is nice and it is located xlose to the sea, so the best views is a mix of both.

It is a very nice hermitage, from where you can take a lot of photos with the sea and rocks, a typical landscape in Basque Country. Really, it seems a mystic place.

It is a very nice little town with a harbour in the center, where you can see some colourful buildings, the harbour and Santa Maria Church. A short walk northeast of town takes you on a path out to this striking stone church, which dates from 1879 but looks much older. Although it's often closed, the main attraction is the magnificent view from the headlands. On 25 November, the church is the setting for a celebration of its namesake, Santa Catalina.
